Addiction center at The Center for Dual Diagnosis Treatment drug rehab program follows an admissions protocol. The first step in entering the drug rehab program at The Center for Dual Diagnosis Treatment is to call a drug rehab program intake counselor who will assist you in determining your drug rehab or alcohol treatment needs. This initial addiction center telephone contact is confidential. You need not identify yourself by name if you do not feel comfortable in doing so to drug rehab program staff. The addiction center intake counselor will conduct a brief assessment of need for a drug rehab program and in doing so will ask a number of questions. The answers to these questions will assist the addiction center intake counselor is determining if you have a problem that requires drug or alcohol treatment and if so, then what type of drug or alcohol treatment is required? After the initial telephone interview, the drug rehab program intake counselor will consult with The Center for Dual Diagnosis Treatment staff to make specific recommendations for drug or alcohol treatment and arrange for a more detailed interview. During this second telephone interview, which may occur the same day, addiction center staff will discuss cost, payment options, and insurance coverage. Remember that many insurance plans cover drug rehab program treatment services. The Center for Dual Diagnosis Treatment staff will inform you at this time of bed availability and assist you in making transportation arrangements.

Once you have made a decision to enter The Center for Dual Diagnosis Treatment, staff will assist you in making necessary travel arrangements to the drug rehab program at The Center for Dual Diagnosis Treatment and providing legal documentation if necessary. The Center for Dual Diagnosis Treatment counselors can even provide support for family members that may not understand the nature of chemical dependency issues by answering questions and providing direction.

Out of state clients may arrive at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, CA. Addiction center staff will make all arrangements for pickup and transfer to our facility. Upon arrival to The Center for Dual Diagnosis Treatment, clients are given an opportunity to rest and relax before beginning treatment. After intake, clients are seen by addiction center medical staff to determine detox protocol. Those patients requiring medical detox are urged to rest and recover for several days prior to beginning groups and therapy. Dietary needs are assessed at this time and clients are encouraged to eat healthily. Addiction treatment at The Center for Dual Diagnosis Treatment may be the first step toward long-term life changes.
